Mindful Movement and Meditation
This ongoing class will begin with mindful movement to awaken and stretch the body, as well as ground our thoughts in the present moment. Mindful movement or somatic movement is done intentionally and purposefully to bring focus and stillness in the body. In this stillness, we will spend the end of class in 20 minutes of guided meditation. A variety of meditation types will be presented and will change each week. Restorative postures will be incorporated often.
